around them? Come investigate the zoo in a whole new way.

Endangered Species
There are thousands of endangered animals, ranging from
the enormous elephant to tiny insects. Learn about the world’s
disappearing animals and what we can do to keep them around.
PreK-1st Tues., April 8. 9:45 – 10:45.
2nd – 4th Tues., April 8. 11:00 – 12:30.
PreK-1st Fri., April 18. 9:45 – 10:45.
2nd – 4th Fri., April 18. 11:00 – 12:30.
5th – 7th Fri., April 18. 1:30 – 3:00.
Butterflies and Insects
Did you know there are over a million different species
of insects? Discover these amazing but often overlooked
creatures.
PreK-1st Tues., May 13. 9:45 – 10:45.
2nd – 4th Tues., May 13. 11:00 – 12:30.
PreK-1st Fri., May 30. 9:45 – 10:45.
2nd – 4th Fri., May 30. 11:00 – 12:30.
5th – 7th Fri., May 30. 1:30 – 3:00.
These classes are $6.00 per person (which does not include
zoo admission). These will be listed in ZooPrints. To register
for any of the classes, just call the education department
at (402)738-2092 or register online at www.omahazoo.com.
The PreK – 1st grade require a parent to attend with
the child(s). The 2nd – 4th grade and 5th –
7th grade classes do not need a parent to attend with them.
If the parent would like to attend then they will have to
pay the $6 also.
