2008 Nebraska Homeschoolers Adventureland Tickets
Adventureland Park in Des Moines, IA is once again offering
discounted tickets to Nebraska homeschooling families. Tickets
are $17.50 per person, while children three and under are
free. The Nebraska Homeschoolers discounted tickets are
good from Friday, May 16 through Sunday, June 1st. The tickets
can be used any day, including weekends. You can check out
their website for park hours (they have different closing
times for weekdays and weekends) at www.adventurelandpark.com.
The discounted tickets must be purchased in advance through
me, Diane McCoppin. (If you try to purchase these at the
gate, you'll be charged the full ticket price of $29.25.)
To order tickets, please send a self-addressed, stamped
envelope (so I can mail your tickets back to you) and a
check or money order payable to: Diane McCoppin at 73698
Highway 75, Brock, NE 68320. It is also helpful if you label
the outside of the envelope with "Adventureland".
I can also issue refunds in the event you purchase tickets
and cannot use them, if you contact me by June 9th.
Parking is $4 per car. There are also a wide variety of
eating establishments in the park, but families can opt
to bring a picnic lunch to be eaten outside of the park
area (there are shaded grassy areas around the parking lots).
For anyone interested in accommodations, there is more information
about the Adventureland campground and the Adventureland
Inn on the website, both of which are located right next
to the amusement park.
If you have questions, you can email me at mccoppin@alltel.net
(preferred) or my phone number is 402-242-2591. Please feel
free to pass along this information to other homeschoolers!
Thanks so much!
Blessings,
Diane McCoppin
