Dear HS Families, ESI Class

Are your children looking for business ideas? Clamoring to make some moolah? Need to be productively engaged this summer?

There are six skills our children learn from having their own businesses and cannot learn from academics:

1) Core Skill #1: Self-understanding.

2) Core Skill # 2: Understanding human nature.

3) Core Skill #3: The art of rapport.

4) Core Skill #4: The ability to "network."

5) Core Skill #5: Understanding the principles of living a successful life.

6) Core Skill #6: Obtaining the specific skills needed for the area in which they want to succeed.

Students from the last Entrepreneurship Class at the Learning Center had four Entrepreneurship Expos, sold products, earned free prizes at Metro College, one earned a scholarship to Metro for a free class, had their businesses featured in the Bellevue Leader, earned a free lunch at UNO, HyVee is now carrying one student’s products full-time, will feature them at their Farmer’s Market this summer and will attend the Buy the Big O Show in October.
